Travel Channel's "America Haunts" filmed at The Beast & Edge of HellKANSAS CITY, Mo., September 16, 2009 – Think you need to go to some exotic destination to be featured on the Travel Channel? This Saturday, September 19, there is no need to venture any farther than Kansas City’s West Bottom haunts, The Beast and Edge of Hell. That's because The Travel Channel program America Haunts will be filming at Kansas City's infamous haunted houses to air on the show in October.
The Edge of Hell turns 35 years old this season, which is a feat unto itself, but its continued innovation using animatronics, special effects, Hollywood-style costumes and movie quality props get it ongoing national recognition.
“We’ll have Thriller Dancers, the headless horseman and the whole cast of frightful characters on-hand to greet thrill seekers outside and inside The Beast and Edge of Hell,” said Amber Arnett-Bequeaith, Full Moon Productions’ Vice President. “The Travel Channel will be interviewing many patrons to be featured with the haunts, which just adds to the fun. We encourage people to come down to 12th Street in the West Bottoms. Maybe they will be on national television!”
